Job summary

United Mechanical is seeking Mechanical Engineers II and III to design and develop HVAC/plumbing systems for commercial projects. You will create drawings using AutoCAD and Revit, perform load calculations and energy modeling, and collaborate with project teams from design through commissioning.

Ideal candidates have 3–5+ years of experience, strong knowledge of building codes, and the ability to work independently on engineering deliverables.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Proficiency with HVAC and/or plumbing systems; energy modeling and load calculations.
• Experience with design software such as AutoCAD, HAP, Revit.

Responsibilities

• Design HVAC and/or plumbing systems including load calculations and equipment selections.
• Develop engineering drawings, specifications, and submittals.
• Coordinate with project teams, clients, and trade partners for design integration.
• Evaluate system performance and ensure code compliance.
• Participate in design reviews, meetings, and site visits.
• Support construction and commissioning activities as needed.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and innovative solutions.
