B&I Contractors, Inc. is seeking an experienced Pipefitter Foreman to lead and coordinate HVAC piping installations on commercial projects in Florida. The role emphasizes safety, schedule adherence, and quality workmanship under codes and company standards.

You will supervise crew members, read blueprints, allocate resources, and mentor apprentices while maintaining thorough job documentation and coordinating with project managers and other trades.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience managing crews on HVAC piping projects.
• Strong communication and organizational skills for field coordination.
• Solid understanding of codes, blueprints, and scheduling practices.
• Proficiency with basic trade math and common software tools.
• Knowledge of multiple piping systems and welding basics is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee installation of HVAC piping systems and equipment on projects.
• Supervise daily crew activities ensuring quality, safety, and productivity.
• Attend weekly on-site meetings and communicate constraints.
• Read plans and submittals to determine methods and requirements.
• Plan tasks to optimize labor, equipment, and material usage.
• Maintain records like timekeeping, logs, and safety documentation.
