B&I Contractors, Inc. is seeking a Pipefitter Superintendent in Florida to lead field teams across multiple project sites. The role drives safety, quality, and schedule adherence while coordinating with project management, foremen, and clients. Strong HVAC/hydronic knowledge and supervisory experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years of field experience, incl. 4+ years in a supervisor role.
• Ability to read blueprints, specs, and technical documentation.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC/hydronic systems and applicable codes.
• Leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with scheduling and reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Foremen and field teams to meet schedules and budgets.
• Review plans, specs, and submittals; approve materials and equipment procurement.
• Plan manpower and resources to maximize productivity.
• Perform regular site visits to ensure safety and quality.
• Mentor Foremen and staff through performance feedback.
• Coordinate with BIM team to validate shop drawings.
• Manage look-ahead schedules to identify risks.
• Coordinate with PM and Foremen on manpower projections.
• Serve as liaison between project management, foreman, and client.
• Maintain accurate daily records and safety documentation.
• Attend jobsite meetings weekly (in-person when possible).
• Monitor equipment and material delivery dates.
