Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking an HVAC Apprenticeship candidate to gain hands-on experience in installation, pneumatic control systems, and maintenance within our team. You will learn under experienced technicians, perform assigned service tasks, and contribute to project progress on job sites.

Applicants should have a High School Diploma or equivalent, HVAC installation/pipefitting experience, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with HVAC installation/pipefitting.
• Ability to perform general building maintenance.
• Self starter with ability to work independently.
• Current driver's license required.
• Willingness to supplement on‑the‑job training with apprenticeship program.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Apprentices shall perform all pneumatic control systems and mechanical equipment service and all other work under the direction of the Employer.
• Troubleshoots and resolves problems.
• Responds to basic warranty calls.
• Keeps JCI, contractors, and the customer informed of job progress and issues as needed.
