Air Equipment Company, headquartered in Louisville, is seeking a Parts Account Manager to promote and sell OEM and aftermarket parts. You will build long-term customer relationships with accounts and manufacturers, delivering outstanding service to drive satisfaction and retention.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field and 4–6 years of parts sales experience, plus strong MS Office skills and willingness to travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field required.
• Four to six years of parts sales experience or equivalent.
• Heating Ventilation Air Conditioning, Construction or Parts industry experience is a plus.
• Excellent initiative and interpersonal communication skills; ability to influence others.
• Strong PC skills in Microsoft Office 2007 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Responsabilités

• Identify parts sales opportunities with new and existing customers.
• Build partnering relationships with customers and decision-makers.
• Develop multiple relationships with key players in customer operations.
• Actively manage sales growth plans for assigned accounts.
• Visit and support customer accounts.
• Manage multiple, ongoing opportunities focused on selling OEM and aftermarket parts & supplies.
• Follow up to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Promote product offerings and promotions.
• Occasionally attend or host sales-related events outside normal hours.
• Know vendor lines; demonstrate and discuss with customers.
• Work with the Parts Department as a team.
• May provide backup for inside sales.
• Regular travel with some overnight travel.
