Job summary

AIR Carolinas is seeking a Delivery Driver / Warehouse Associate to support our Raleigh, NC operations. You will pull orders, load delivery vehicles, and assist customers at the counter while ensuring accuracy and safety in all tasks.

Responsibilities include local deliveries, inventory verification, stocking, and cross-selling to help meet branch goals. A valid driver's license and forklift certification (or ability to obtain) are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• English language proficiency; bilingual ability is a plus.
• Forklift certification or ability to obtain within 30 days; valid driver's license and acceptable MVR are required.

Responsibilities

• Pull customer orders to load into delivery vehicle or customer vehicle.
• Perform local deliveries using company vehicles, ensuring on-time, safe transport and accurate documentation.
• Unload inventory from freight/shipping companies and vendors.
• Verify contents of inventory against shipping documents and invoices.
• Assist customers at the counter by taking orders and entering them into the system accurately.
• Increase sales and average order size through cross-selling and offering promotional items.
• Attend product knowledge meetings as required by management.
• Resolve customer issues quickly and professionally.
• Participate in scheduled inventory and weekly cycle counts.
• Keep merchandising and counter areas clean and welcoming.
• Assist Store Branch Manager as needed.
