Job summary

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required; equivalent experience may be considered.
Minimum 1-year truck driving experience.
Box truck delivery experience.
CDL licenses are highly desirable.
A valid Department of Transportation (DOT) medical certificate is required prior to employment.
Must meet DOT physical qualification standards; reasonable accommodations available.

Responsibilities

Represent Baker Distributing Company as a leader in the industry.
Daily loading and unloading of products in truck for delivery to customers and/or other Sales Centers.
Collect invoices with proper signatures and return to the Sales Center Manager.
Assist in the Warehouse with inventory counts, picking and verifying orders.
Maintain daily truck maintenance checklist and hours with merchandise returns.
Follow safety protocols and use PPE as required.
Report safety hazards or incidents to management.
Participate in safety trainings and drills.
Ensure safe handling and storage of all products.
Operate truck and warehouse equipment safely.
Keep truck and workspace clean and organized.
Perform other duties as assigned.
