Air Equipment Company, a long‑standing HVAC solutions provider in Lexington, KY, is seeking a Parts Account Manager to promote and sell manufacturer lines within the Parts division. You will build and manage long‑term customer relationships, collaborate with all business streams, and strive for customer satisfaction and retention.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s in Business or related field with 4–6 years of parts sales experience; HVAC or parts industry knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field with four to six years of parts sales experience
• HVAC, Construction or Parts industry experience is a plus
• Excellent initiative and interpersonal communication skills and a demonstrated ability to influence others
• Strong PC skills in Microsoft Office 2007 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

Responsibilities

• Identify parts sales opportunities with new and existing customers
• Build partnering relationships with customers and individuals responsible for making purchasing decisions
• Develop multiple relationships with key players in customer operations
• Actively manages sales growth plans for assigned accounts
• Visit and support customer accounts
• Manage multiple, ongoing opportunities focused on selling OEM and aftermarket parts & supplies
• Follow up to ensure customer satisfaction
• Demonstrate product offerings and promotions to customers
• Travel regularly, including some overnight stays
