Job summary

Kelso Building Services is seeking a driven HVAC outside sales professional to grow our commercial customer portfolio in the market. You will prospect, visit facilities, identify service, maintenance, retrofit, and replacement opportunities, and build lasting partnerships with owners and managers.

You will manage a proactive pipeline, collaborate with service leaders and estimators, and craft proposals and maintenance program recommendations that deliver operational and energy-saving value.

Qualifications

• Two+ years of outside sales experience (B2B)
• Experience in HVAC, facilities services, construction, or related industries preferred
• Strong communication, networking, and relationship-building abilities
• Comfortable initiating conversations via cold calls, visits, and networking events
• Self-motivated with ability to manage an independent sales territory
• Experience using CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications

Responsibilities

• Develop new business through cold outreach, door-to-door, networking, referrals, and prospecting
• Engage commercial owners, property managers, facility directors, and operations teams
• Schedule visits, introductory meetings, and facility assessments
• Build and manage a consistent sales pipeline of qualified opportunities
• Create customer-focused proposals, pricing, and maintenance program recommendations
• Represent Kelso Building Services professionally in all interactions
