Remote, ideally located in Mountain or Western time zone to cover the Western US

Ideal Candidate: Outside Sales HVAC
Core Responsibilities:
- Assisting customers in making product selections; assisting with system or product troubleshooting; and answering technical questions.
- Providing a high level of customer service and technical support to HVAC/R contractors and industrial personnel both in person and on the phone.
- Having a full knowledge of our equipment product lines and being able to correctly size and match jobs as well as troubleshoot service issues.
- Maintaining knowledge of HVAC/R fundamentals and product lines (features, functions, use, and benefits of the company's HVAC products, vendors carried, and their respective lines); staying informed of new products; and utilizing opportunities to further educate oneself, coworkers, and customers.
- Determining replacement HVAC/R parts based on inspection or verbal/description of the old part and customer requirements.
- Providing customer product and service needs by performing tasks such as finding products using computer, catalog, telephone, or other reference sources. This includes researching and sourcing products for customers using various tools, such as point-of-sale computer systems, catalogs, web-based tools, and industry contacts.
- Training other teammates in HVAC fundamentals.
- As an Outside Salesperson, you must be optimistic, friendly, and service-oriented. Excellent verbal communication is essential, and all salespeople must approach customer interactions honestly and ethically.
Ideal Candidate:
- College Degree
- 3-5 years industry experience
- Outstanding customer service and communication skills
- Basic computer literacy
- The ability to maintain positive relationships with team members, vendors, and customers
Additional Qualifications:
- Have a comprehensive knowledge of HVAC products
- Possess strong sales, wholesale sales, and HVAC industry experience
- Demonstrate excellent organization and presentation skills with the ability to meet deadlines
- Have the determination and drive to prospect new clients
Travel can be up to 50% of the time at times.
