Job summary

Parity, Inc. is seeking a Building Intelligence Engineer in the greater Washington DC area to ensure buildings are quoted, set up, and optimized within Parity’s HVAC optimization platform.

You will collaborate with Sales & Operations to analyze energy potential, coordinate with technicians, and ensure commissioning and incentive requirements are met, enabling energy savings for multifamily buildings and hotels.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (or higher) with interest in HVAC/building automation.
• 2–5 years in energy auditing, MEP, or controls/building automation.
• Familiarity with energy incentive programs.
• Willingness to travel to client sites in the greater DC area.

Responsibilities

• Conduct on-site assessments to estimate savings and costs for Parity’s service.
• Perform energy analyses using Parity tools with site data and drawings.
• Manage installation and setup phases to keep projects on schedule and budget.
• Coordinate between Parity software and field controllers to optimize systems.
