Job summary

IES is seeking an HVAC Punch Out Technician in Dayton, OH to support HVAC operations, ensure quality workmanship, and meet customer expectations on installation, service, replacement, or operational tasks.

You will collaborate with internal teams, customers, vendors, and field personnel, maintain records, and contribute to process improvements while upholding safety standards.

Minimum 2–4 years of related experience; HS diploma preferred; on-site role requiring travel and ability to lift 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 2–4 years of HVAC-related experience.
• HVAC industry experience preferred.
• Relevant industry certifications or licenses preferred, and required where necessary to perform job duties.

Responsibilities

• Perform assigned HVAC-related duties in support of departmental and company objectives.
• Maintain compliance with company policies, safety standards, and procedures.
• Coordinate with internal departments, customers, subcontractors, and vendors as required.
• Maintain accurate records and reporting for assigned responsibilities.
• Support process improvement and operational efficiency efforts.
• Communicate professionally, both verbally and in writing.
• Assist leadership and team members with daily operational activities.
• Ensure quality standards and customer expectations are consistently met.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
