Job summary
LG Electronics North America in Farmers Branch, TX, is seeking an OEM Compressor Sales Engineer to join the Component Solutions Engineering Team. You will lead technical sales support, manage projects between LG and OEM manufacturers, and act as the engineering expert on compressor design and application.
The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and 5+ years in HVAC compressor design/manufacturing or related fields, with strong communication skills and travel up to 10% domestically
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in HVAC Compressor Design/Manufacturing or HVAC UNIT Design/Manufacturing.
- Strong analytical and project-management skills.
- Fluent in English; excellent written and verbal communication.
Responsibilities
- Search for optimal component pairings for HVAC OEM customers.
- Assist OEM customers in identifying compressor opportunities.
- Provide technical or process support during qualification and reliability activities.
- Develop customer business cases for new concept solutions.
- Manage project timelines and deliverables for new compressor applications.
- Lead in design/application risk assessment for large projects.
