Job summary
Carrier is seeking an experienced manufacturing engineer to lead the introduction of new products and processes into manufacturing operations. You will drive design for manufacture and field service considerations throughout product development, ensuring requirements are met before production release.
The role involves collaborating across operations, engineering, and quality teams to build efficient, reliable processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
- 5+ years experience in manufacturing engineering, design engineering or New Product Introduction.
- 3+ years experience leading projects in a cross functional environment.
- 3+ years of experience with Microsoft; Excel, Project, PowerPoint, and Word.
Responsibilities
- Lead the introduction of new products and processes into manufacturing operations.
- Drive design for manufacture and field service throughout development.
- Ensure requirements are met before releasing new products into production.
- Develop cutting edge manufacturing processes and capital plans.
- Collaborate with operations, engineering, quality and materials to translate requirements into product components.
