Job summary

First American Industries, Inc. is seeking an experienced Mechanical & HVAC Warehouse Operations Manager to lead our central warehouse, material logistics, and tool/fleet management.

You will bridge shop operations and field production, ensuring piping, sheet metal, equipment, and consumables arrive at job sites safely and on schedule. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of warehouse operations in HVAC/mechanical contracting, strong vendor negotiation skills, and a proven ability to develop SOPs

Qualifications

• 5+ years of warehouse operations and inventory control experience within HVAC/mechanical/plumbing/industrial contracting industries.
• Deep familiarity with mechanical trade materials, HVAC equipment, piping systems, ductwork components, and trade-specific tooling.
• Proven supervisory skills with a strong focus on trade safety standards (OSHA compliance, rigging/material handling).
• Hands-on experience with PO/invoice approvals, vendor negotiations with local supply houses, and inventory/job-costing software.
• Excellent cross-functional communication with Project Managers, Field Superintendents, and trade technicians.
• Working knowledge of fleet maintenance management and route planning.

Responsibilities

• Lead central warehouse, material logistics, and tool/fleet management.
• Bridge the gap between shop operations and field production to ensure timely delivery of piping, sheet metal, equipment, and consumables to job sites.
• Develop and enforce SOPs to keep large-scale mechanical projects on schedule.
