Johnson Controls, Inc. is seeking a hands-on HVAC technician/trainee in Sioux Falls, SD to perform preventive maintenance, repair, and installation of mechanical HVAC systems. You will complete service documentation and provide solutions to improve efficiency for our customers on site.
The role requires membership or willingness to join Pipe Fitters Local 300, with 1+ years of mechanical experience being a plus, and strong interpersonal skills to represent Johnson Controls professionally.
Under general supervision, conducts preventive maintenance, repair, installation, general servicing and troubleshooting of mechanical HVAC systems. Properly completes required project and service documentation.Provide our customers with the highest level of service to solve building inefficiencies and resolveservice-relateditems. As a trusted advisor to ourcustomers,you will provide solutions and outcomes at the time of service.
Pre-Apprentices are governed by the local unionagreement, and they will perform all pneumatic control systems and mechanical equipment service and all other work coming under this Agreement assigned by the Employer, limited only by their capabilities as determined by the Employer.
Provide recommendations and solutions to ensurefacilityis running efficiently to include upselling opportunities. Provide quotes to support recommendations and solutions.
Routine service and inspections, regardless of size or location of the HVAC mechanical equipment being inspected or serviced, where this work is done as a periodic and routine procedure by the Employer, such as:
Pay Range: $29.43 hourly rate determined by the CBA/rate sheet. The posted salary range reflects the target compensation for this role.
