Job summary

Responsibilities include performing HVAC load calculations, validating designs, and overseeing project workflow from conception through construction. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and NavisWorks is essential.

Qualifications

• BSME or equivalent degree from an accredited university.
• Professional Engineering (PE) license required.
• Experience delivering projects utilizing AutoCAD and Revit and coordinating an integrated design using NavisWorks.
• Demonstrated experience in the A/E industry supporting projects in chemicals, heavy industrial, and manufacturing.
• Willingness to travel and spend time onsite with customers.
• Strong communication and organizational skills; ability to work with cross‑discipline teams.

Responsibilities

• Design mechanical and process systems from simple to complex.
• Coordinate with design team members across disciplines.
• Develop design solutions for mechanical utility systems (chilled water, cooling towers, heating water, steam, condensate, compressed air, etc.).
• Validate designs with HVAC load calculations and pressure drops.
• Support work delivered from multiple office locations.
• Direct project workflow of engineers, designers and drafters to completion.
• Interact with clients, vendors, and contractors.
• Manage scope changes, assess risks, and create contingency plans.
• Participate in construction services: site observations, RFIs, and submittal reviews.
