Job summary

Parsons seeks Mechanical Engineering Interns to support HVAC, plumbing, industrial piping, and ventilation for federal projects in the Pasadena, CA office. Interns are paired one-on-one with a mentor in a 4D Internship Program to gain hands-on experience in the engineering design process.

Required: pursuing a Bachelor's (3rd year+) or Master's in Mechanical Engineering or Fire Protection, US citizenship, GPA >3.25, and strong writing/communication skills. Salary range: $22.93–$40.14 per hour.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's (3rd year+) or Master's in Mechanical Engineering or Fire Protection.
• US Citizenship required.
• GPA above 3.25/4.0.
• Strong writing, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Revit design for mechanical systems in HVAC/plumbing/ventilation projects.
• Performing engineering calculations and analyses: thermal and fluid mechanics.
• Producing engineering reports and research documentation.
• Participating in the 4D Internship Program with mentorship by senior engineers.
