Qualifications

• PE licensure preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, analyze, and optimize HVAC systems for government, commercial, and industrial buildings, ensuring energy efficiency and code compliance.
• Develop detailed plans, specifications, and drawings for HVAC and plumbing systems, including ductwork, piping layouts, equipment selection, and sizing calculations.
• Conduct site visits to assess HVAC/plumbing systems, identify deficiencies, and propose cost-effective upgrades or replacements.
• Perform facilities condition assessments on government/military facilities focusing on HVAC/plumbing.
• Collaborate with architects, contractors, and stakeholders to integrate mechanical systems into building designs.
• Utilize CAD/REVIT to model and simulate HVAC/plumbing systems.
• Prepare reports and presentations summarizing findings and recommendations for stakeholders.
• Provide high-level cost estimates using industry databases.
• Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes related to HVAC/plumbing.
• Travel up to 30%.
