Curtiss-Wright Nuclear | QualTech NP Cincinnati is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to support HVAC product solutions and engineering execution for nuclear industry projects. The role collaborates with stakeholders to analyze requirements, develop proposals, and deliver on orders priced across a broad HVAC range including air handling units, chillers, and dampers.

The candidate will interface with customers, suppliers, and cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical field.
• Mechanical focus with HVAC/thermal systems preferred.
• 2–6 years of related engineering experience.

Responsibilities

• Analyze customer requirements and standards to craft clear technical input for proposals.
• Provide innovative solutions for advancing engineering challenges.
• Design, test, and qualify HVAC systems and equipment.
• Analyze mechanical systems and fluid flow (air, water) in designs.
• Set technical objectives and develop practical design solutions.
• Support project meetings, site visits, and customer discussions.
• Communicate with customers and suppliers to meet requirements.
