Job summary

ManpowerGroup is seeking a Mechanical Assembler for a client in Plattsburgh, NY. The role focuses on assembling, installing, and inspecting mechanical components and subassemblies used in high-efficiency chiller systems.

Pay is $19 per hour, with standard first shift 7:00am to 3:30pm, Monday through Friday, and a temp-to-perm path. You will read blueprints and BOMs, measure and cut piping, and use hand and power tools to secure parts.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years mechanical assembly experience.
• HVAC experience preferred.
• DT/BGC required.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, install, fit, and inspect mechanical components and subassemblies used in the manufacturing of high-efficiency chiller systems.
• Measure, cut, prepare, and install piping, tubing, supports, brackets, and associated hardware
• Install and secure mechanical parts using various hand tools, power tools, fastening devices, and assembly equipment.
• Read and interpret mechanical drawings, blueprints, assembly instructions, bills of materials (BOMs), and specifications
• Lift up to 50lbs
