Adecco is hiring an experienced Mechanical Assembler for a leading manufacturer in Hauppauge, NY. This temp-to-perm opportunity offers hands-on work with precision components and a strong mechanical background.

Responsibilities include assembling mechanical parts with hand and power tools, performing fitting, testing, and inspection, and using calipers and micrometers to verify specifications. Pay ranges from $21 to $28 per hour.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of mechanical assembly or manufacturing experience.
• Experience using hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical parts, components, and subassemblies using hand and power tools.
• Perform fitting, adjustments, testing, and inspection of completed assemblies.
• Use calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, and voltmeters to verify measurements and specifications.
• Work with mechanical, hydraulic, optical, and electrical/electronic components.
• Perform soldering, coil winding, subassembly, and final detailing when needed.
