Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or trade school.
• EPA certification for proper refrigerant practices (40 CFR Part 82).
• Valid driver’s license for vehicles assigned to the trade.

Responsibilities

• Installs, services and repairs air conditioning units per refrigeration theory and specs.
• Mounts compressors/condensing units per blueprints and specs on platform.
• Installs evaporator units and connects control panels to power sources.
• Tests systems and identifies malfunctions; repairs or replaces defective components.
