Job summary

Amneal Pharmaceuticals is seeking an HVAC Mechanic to maintain and repair air handling units, chillers, and BMS at our Brookhaven, NY site. This role supports facility reliability and requires hands-on repair, preventive maintenance, and coordination with other departments.

The ideal candidate brings 5+ years in HVAC, EPA 608 Universal certification, and the ability to work on call, with OSHA respirator fit testing as part of the requirements.

Qualifications

• High School or GED required.
• EPA clean air section 608 universal required.
• 5+ years in HVAC.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate preventive maintenance with various departments.
• Perform breakdown and preventive maintenance on HVAC systems and controls.
• Complete documentation (work orders, log books).
• Supervise outside contractors for maintenance, repairs and projects.
• Maintain PM records and daily facility temperatures & RH%.
• Respond to emergencies and on-call schedules; may work weekends.
