Stampede Ventures, Inc. is seeking an HVAC Mechanic in Fredericksburg, VA to perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and repairs on HVAC systems across sites.

The role requires traveling to customer locations, collaborating with subcontractors, and ensuring reliable indoor air quality. Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED and 5–10 years of HVAC maintenance experience, plus EPA 608 certification and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High school education or GED required.
• 5-10 years of HVAC maintenance/repair experience.
• EPA 608 Certification for refrigerant (Type 1 and Type 2).
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening.
• Own basic tools needed to perform maintenance on equipment.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 75 lbs.
• Must be able to travel daily within the designated area.

Responsibilities

• Travel daily to perform preventive maintenance on HVAC and other equipment.
• Complete PM checklists and close out work orders in Maximo.
• Upload documents and photos to document work performed.
• Perform minor repairs on building equipment during visits.
• Coordinate with subcontractors for services not available in-house.
• Maintain excellent customer relations during job performance.
• Inspect, maintain, and repair HVAC equipment for reliable indoor air comfort.
• Handle and repair test equipment and various HVAC components.
