Job summary

LB&B Associates, Inc. is seeking an experienced HVAC Mechanic for commercial systems in Silver Spring, MD and Laurel, MD. You will operate, maintain, and repair chillers, boilers, cooling towers, and BAS equipment to keep buildings safe, comfortable, and energy efficient.

The role demands at least five years of hands-on HVAC maintenance, Maryland license, EPA 608, and strong diagnostic skills. You will work with engineers and vendors, follow safety protocols, and document all activities.

Qualifications

• Maryland Journeyman or Master HVAC license required.
• Minimum 5 years of commercial HVAC maintenance experience.
• EPA Section 608 Certification (Universal) required.
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and manuals.

Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain, and repair commercial HVAC systems including chillers and boilers.
• Program BAS to optimize building performance and energy usage.
• Troubleshoot HVAC equipment and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and manuals.
• Document maintenance activities and parts usage in records.
• Coordinate with engineers, vendors, and maintenance staff.
