Job summary

Dae Sung, LLC is seeking a full-time HVAC Mechanic to support our Richmond, VA contract (Federal Building). The role requires 5+ years of experience with large commercial HVAC equipment, preventive and corrective maintenance on boilers, chillers, and air handling systems.

Candidates must have a High School Diploma or GED, and Universal EPA or CFC certification; Nate Certification is preferred with a 6-month expectation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years experience with large commercial HVAC equipment.
• Experience performing preventive and corrective maintenance on boilers, chillers, and air handling systems.
• General maintenance knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on boilers, chillers, hot water systems, and air handling units.
• Operate and repair complex mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems as needed.
• Maintain and troubleshoot VAV components and related HVAC equipment.

Brief Description

Dae Sung, LLC is currently seeking a full-time HVAC Mechanic to support our contract located in Richmond, VA (Federal Building).

Working Days/Hours: Monday through Friday: 7:00am-3:30pm. Hourly Pay Rate: $32.96 per hour. Health and Welfare Pay: $1,254.25 per month (per CBA). This position also offers vacation, sick leave, paid holidays and pension plan per the collective bargaining agreement. Candidate must be willing to obtain/maintain Nate Certification within 6 months of employment. HVAC Mechanic (Nate Certified) hourly pay rate $35.02 per hour.

HVAC Mechanic must have a minimum of (5) years experience working on large commercial heating and air conditioning equipment. HVAC Mechanic must be competent to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on boilers, chillers, hot water heating systems, domestic water plumbing systems, air handlers, VAV components, and other various HVAC equipment and building systems. Candidates must also have general maintenance knowledge on how to operate and repair complex mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.

• High School Diploma or G.E.D is required.
• Universal EPA or CFC certification is required.
• Technical training in HVAC is highly desired.
