Job summary

Tallgrass Creek by Erickson Senior Living in Overland Park, Kansas is seeking an HVAC Technician to maintain residential apartments and public areas on our campus. The role supports a vibrant retirement community, with a focus on comfort, safety and resident well-being.

Compensation is commensurate with experience, offered hourly from $24.30 to $36.50. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 8am–4:30pm, with comprehensive benefits including health coverage, retirement, PTO and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 1 year of HVAC maintenance experience.
• Able to lift and move objects up to 50 pounds.
• Able to communicate effectively with residents and team.
• Follow plans from Engineering/Maintenance Manager and adapt to new equipment.

• Perform light maintenance of heating, cooling, and ventilation systems.
• Respond to emergency calls for system or equipment failure.
• Inspect, monitor, and evaluate efficiency and safety to ensure reliable operation.

Join our team as an HVAC Technician! You will be responsible for maintaining the residential apartments and public areas of our beautiful campus. Your work will make a significant difference in the lives of our residents, ensuring they have a comfortable and safe place to call home.

Compensation : Commensurate with experience, ranged from $24.30/hr - $36.50/hr

Schedule : Monday- Friday 8am-4:30pm

How you will make an impact

• Perform light maintenance of all heating, cooling, and ventilation systems.

What you will need

• Minimum of 1 year experience in HVAC maintenance
• Ability to implement all plans formulated by Engineering/Maintenance Manager
• Ability to adjust to new industry techniques and become familiar with new equipment as required
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents and the team
• Be able to lift and/or move objects weighing up to 50 pounds
