Job summary

LB&B Associates Inc. is looking for an HVAC Mechanic for a full-time position at the U.S Census Headquarters in Hillcrest Heights, MD. LB&B Associates Inc. is seeking an HVAC Mechanic to oversee operations and mechanical maintenance services at the U.S Census Headquarters, Hillcrest Heights, MD.

Position Details:

• Full-time union position
• Hourly Pay Rate: $46.90 starting 7/1/2025, increasing to $48.31
• Schedule: Monday through Friday, 6:00 am - 2:00 pm

Qualifications:

• Minimum of five (5) years experience on large commercial HVAC equipment
• Ability to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on boilers, chillers, hot water systems, plumbing, air handlers, VAV components, and other HVAC equipment
• General maintenance knowledge of complex mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
• High School Diploma or G.E.D.
• Universal EPA or CFC certification
• HVAC technical training preferred
