Malace|HR is seeking an experienced HVAC Mobile Maintenance Mechanic in the Cleveland, OH area. The role involves working 1st shift hours with a pay rate of $30-33 per hour. The HVAC Maintenance Mechanic supports operation, inspection, and maintenance of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems in assigned facilities. Responsibilities include assisting in maintenance and repair efforts and performing defined tasks independently. The role also involves inspecting and repairing property interiors and exteriors, including walls, flooring, fixtures, roofing, and lighting.

Job Responsibilities

Maintenance

• Perform ongoing preventive and corrective work orders on mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and other systems and components.
• Maintain, operate, and repair HVAC systems, electrical distribution, plumbing, interior/exterior repairs, grounds, and production equipment in assigned buildings.
• Conduct facility inspections and report conditions affecting client occupancy and operations.
• Perform general interior maintenance such as hanging pictures, repairing furniture and doors.
• Move furniture, machinery, and equipment as needed.
• Replace lighting and ballasts.
• Clean HVAC coils, change filters and belts.
• Perform other assigned tasks.

Safety

• Complete hazard assessments as needed.
• Follow safety procedures, maintain good housekeeping, and recognize hazards.
• Ensure compliance with applicable codes and laws.
• Complete required safety training.
• Practice defensive driving.
• Handle hazardous materials safely.

Driving

• Possess and maintain a valid state driver's license (if mobile).

Administrative

• Submit P-card receipts daily.
• Update work order statuses in real-time.
• Use CMMS systems such as 360 Facility for all work performed.
• Perform vehicle safety inspections.
• Escalate issues promptly to customers and managers.
• Attend work and safety meetings as required.

Other

• Perform any other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Third-party certifications relevant to HVAC and maintenance.

Physical Work Requirements and Conditions

• Lifting up to 80 lbs.
• Working from heights and climbing ladders up to 30 feet.
• Frequent bending, lifting, kneeling, stooping, and working overhead.
• Working in extreme temperatures and adverse conditions.
• Driving for long periods.
