Johnstone Supply, a leading HVACR distributor in North America, is hiring for a Material Handler/Driver in Howell, MI. The role involves receiving, packing, shipping, and delivering products while maintaining strict safety and quality standards.

You will operate forklifts and pallet jacks, verify shipments, and support inventory cycle counts. A valid driver's license and forklift certification are required, with opportunity for growth within a national distribution network.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; 1+ years of truck driving (26 ft or larger) or 1 year operating Johnstone equipment under supervision.
• Experience operating forklift and other warehouse equipment safely and competently.
• English proficiency required; strong customer service and teamwork skills are essential.
• Knowledge of warehouse or distribution center management systems and order picking processes is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate basic power equipment safely to locate, store, and move products to correct locations daily.
• Receive product by unloading trucks using forklift or by hand.
• Verify shipments against packing lists and complete required paperwork.
• Fill orders by picking and packing items, ensuring minimal damage.
• Maintain safe work environment and report safety concerns promptly.
• Drive company vehicles following DOT, state, federal, and company standards.
