Job summary

HOLT CAT is seeking an experienced Maintenance HVAC Technician 2 to perform skilled maintenance, troubleshoot, and repair split system air conditioners and package units on projects and existing facilities. You will coordinate with site personnel for shutdowns, assist with new system design input, and respond promptly to occupant comfort needs under the supervision of the Facility Maintenance Manager.

The role requires 5+ years in HVAC with EPA Universal 608 certification and TDLR registration,

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associates degree in HVAC/R preferred.
• Registered with TDLR as an HVAC Technician required.
• EPA Universal 608 Certification required.
• Minimum 5 years' HVAC trade or related experience required; 7+ years preferred.

Responsibilities

• Model, promote, reinforce, and reward the use of our Values Based Leadership tools and processes.
• Evaluate, troubleshoot, repair, and replace HVAC equipment including split systems and package units.
• Perform preventive maintenance on HVAC equipment and test systems for proper operation.
• Inspect equipment, diagnose malfunctions, and source materials; place orders with vendors.
• Provide timely diagnosis and plan repairs to meet operational requirements.
