Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with HVAC training preferred.
• Valid licensing or certification as required by laws for the work area.
• EPA and safety certifications required.
• Basic knowledge of HVAC equipment and accessories.
• Proficient with tools and equipment for service projects.
• Basic wiring diagrams reading and troubleshooting electrical/refrigerant/duct systems.
• Strong communication and time-management skills.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record; willing to work flexible hours and on-call.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and access attics/basements.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and precision tune-ups on HVAC equipment and accessories.
• Inspect equipment and perform limited diagnostics to prevent breakdowns or callbacks.
• Deliver excellent customer service and promote products/services.
• Record call details on handheld device and complete paperwork; collect payments if needed.
• Assist Service Technician and coordinate with dispatch for status updates.
• Ensure company property, vehicles, and tools are properly maintained and accounted for.
• Represent the company professionally and ethically in all business matters.
