Job summary

The Clifton, New Jersey Facilities team is seeking an HVAC Mechanic- Maintenance for the Clifton, NJ site. This role is responsible for performing skilled mechanical and electrical work related to the repair, maintenance, and servicing of heating, ventilation, refrigeration, and air conditioning systems, as well as other related equipment.

The Electrician/HVAC Technician Assistant will conduct diagnostic testing on equipment and perform a variety of other skilled maintenance duties.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 5 years related industrial experience.
• Valid NJ driver's license required.
• Familiarity with OSHA, NEC, NFPA, EHS and local codes.

Responsibilities

• Assist in servicing, maintaining, regulating, and repairing HVAC/R equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical problems and replace defective parts.
• Inspect installations and components such as compressors, pumps and controls.
• Maintain routine maintenance records and communicate with supervisors.
• Operate lifts and company vehicles in a safe manner.
