Job summary

Affordable Heating & Air, LLC in Sylacauga, AL is seeking an HVAC Maintenance Technician for entry-level on-the-job training. You will perform annual maintenance on residential HVAC systems and work Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm with occasional overtime.

Position offers a take-home vehicle, company gas card, Bryant training paid by the company, and a paid time off/holiday package. We are a locally owned and operated Bryant Factory Authorized Dealer with a focus on customer service.

Qualifications

• Experience with routine/annual maintenance on HVAC systems
• EPA universal certificate (desired)
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Ability to lift 50 lbs
• High school diploma or equivalent
• HVAC trade school certificate desired

Responsibilities

• Provide service, maintenance, and repairs on residential and light commercial HVAC systems
• Communicate with homeowners
• Educate customers on indoor air quality products
• Participate in company-paid training

HVAC Maintenance Technician

We are hiring an HVAC Maintenance Tech: Looking for someone for our entry entry level, on-hands training position. This position will start with conducting annual / routine maintenance on residential HVAC equipment.

Pay Rate: $16.00 per hour + spiffs and bonuses

Work Schedule: Monday-Friday | 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with occasional overtime

Location: Talladega County, AL

What You'll Be Doing:

• Provide service, maintenance, and repairs on a variety of residential and light commercial heating and air conditioning systems
• Communicating to homeowners
• Make recommendations and educate customers on indoor air quality products to fit their home comfort needs
• Participating in company-paid training

What We're Looking For:

• Construction, HVAC, Electrical or similar industry experience is a plus
• Mechanical aptitude
• EPA universal Certificate - desired - we will train
• Routine / annual maintenance experience desired
• Valid driver's license and insurable driving record
• Able to lift and carry 50lbs
• High school diploma or its equivalent
• Certificate of completion from an HVAC Technical School - desired
