Job summary

One Hour Heating & Air Conditioning, an affiliate of Authority Brands, is seeking an HVAC Maintenance Technician to service and maintain newer residential systems to ensure high-quality customer experiences. Based in Pompano Beach, you will perform maintenance calls, document components and costs, debrief with dispatch, and uphold professional standards on-site.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, residential HVAC maintenance experience, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Verifiable residential HVAC maintenance experience greatly preferred.
• EPA or NATE certification preferred.
• Solid communication and customer service skills a plus.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record required.
• Must pass background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Comfort Club and revenue maintenance calls as well as part-replacement calls.
• Accurately document age and type of each system component on invoices, costs for services, and services completed.
• Debrief with dispatch after each service call.
• Respect the customer’s property by inspecting the area for cleanliness after job completion.
• Maintain company vehicle, ensuring cleanliness and organization, both inside and out.
• Always maintain a professional image and a courteous demeanor with customers and associates.
• Follow safety policies and procedures.
• Abide by all company standards of performance and code of ethics.
• Participate in all company-sponsored training classes.
