Job summary

Authority Brands is seeking an HVAC Maintenance Technician to perform residential system maintenance according to company standards and to deliver a high-quality customer experience. This role involves documenting service details, engaging with dispatch after calls, and upholding safety, cleanliness, and professional conduct on every visit.

The position emphasizes on-site work, adherence to company policies, and participation in ongoing training to mentor other technicians and improve service

Qualifications

• GED or High School Diploma required.
• Associate's degree in related field preferred.
• Ability to pass NATE Core Test.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

Job description

HVAC Maintenance Technician provides maintenance on residential heating and air conditioning systems according to company standards while providing the customer with a high-quality experience.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct Comfort Club and revenue maintenance calls as well as parts/component replacement calls.
• Accurately documents age and type of each system component on invoices, costs for services and services completed.
• Debrief service call with dispatch after each service call.
• Inspection of area for cleanliness after job completion.
• Maintains company vehicle, ensuring cleanliness and organization, both inside and out.
• Maintain a professional image and a courteous demeanor with customers and associates at all times.
• Follow safety policies and procedures.
• Abiding by ALL One Hour standards of performance and code of ethics.
• Respecting the customer’s property.
• Participate in ALL company sponsored training classes.
• Assist in mentoring and training maintenance technicians.

Physical Requirements:

• Working with mechanical and chemical hazards and conditions including fumes, odors, dusts, gases, and/or poor ventilation
