Job summary

E & C Mid-Atlantic Ventures, LLC is seeking a maintenance technician with HVAC knowledge to maintain and repair building equipment on site. Responsibilities include following safety requirements, removing old equipment, and assisting with new installations.

The role requires interpreting schematics, understanding refrigeration cycles, and performing routine property maintenance. Applicants should have a valid driver’s license, pass background and drug screening, and be able to lift 50 lbs+.

Qualifications

• HVAC knowledge required.
• Valid Driver’s License required.
• Background check and drug screen required.
• Dependable, punctual, able to work independently.
• Able to walk/stand for extended periods.
• Able to lift 50 lbs or more.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair building HVAC equipment.
• Follow all HVAC codes and safety requirements.
• Remove old HVAC equipment and assist with new system installation.
• Install pipe and ductwork as needed.
• Read and interpret wiring diagrams and schematics.
• Understand refrigeration cycles.
• Interpret technical data including pressure/temperature charts.
• Perform routine maintenance around the property.
• Troubleshoot basic electrical issues.
• Repair broken or leaking plumbing.
• Perform basic carpentry and general building repairs.
