Job summary

Service Experts in Addison, IL is seeking an HVAC Technician Helper to support maintenance and service calls across heating, cooling, and ventilation systems. You will perform routine tune-ups, assist Service Technicians, and ensure accurate records and customer satisfaction.

Training is provided through our Academy, with opportunities for advancement within the U.S. Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, EPA safety certifications, a valid driver's license, and the ability to lift

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; HVAC training preferred.
• EPA and safety certifications required for the area.
• Basic knowledge of HVAC operation and related accessories.
• Strong reading of wiring diagrams.
• Good communication, time management and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance calls under supervision.
• Carry out routine tune-ups on HVAC equipment.
• Inspect equipment to identify potential problems.
• Deliver and remove parts and equipment for service work.
• Assist technicians during service calls.
• Record information using handheld device; complete paperwork neatly.
• Communicate with dispatch about status and availability.
• Provide excellent customer service and promote services.
• Generate leads for replacement products with customers.
