Service Experts in Addison, IL is seeking an HVAC service technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain residential and light commercial systems under minimal supervision. You will interact with customers, promote services, and ensure satisfaction while handling parts and paperwork efficiently.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 4+ years HVAC experience and technical training.
• Must possess all valid licensing or certification as required by laws for the work area.
• EPA and safety certifications required.
• Skilled at servicing HVAC equipment and related accessories.
• Proficient reading of wiring diagrams and troubleshooting electrical, refrigerant and duct systems.

Responsibilities

• Performs residential and/or light commercial service and maintenance calls under minimal supervision.
• Analyzes, diagnoses, and resolves customer problems courteously and efficiently.
• Diagnoses and services heating, air conditioning, ventilation, and refrigeration equipment.
• Inspects equipment and performs diagnostics to prevent breakdowns and callbacks; completes routine maintenance and cleaning.
• Delivers and removes parts and equipment needed for service work.
• Records information on a handheld device; processes forms and collects payment.
• Communicates with dispatch to provide accurate status reports.
• Promotes products and services to customers and generates replacement sales leads.
