Job summary

ABM is seeking a Maintenance Lead in the Baltimore area to troubleshoot, repair, maintain, and install HVAC systems, coordinating day-to-day activities for assigned agreements or projects. The role requires leadership across teams, strong technical knowledge, and a focus on timely, cost-effective delivery.

Salary is competitive with an hourly range of $29–$31, and ABM offers a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

Must be 18 years of age or older.
Must possess valid, unexpired driver’s license.
High School Diploma, GED or suitable equivalent is required.
One (1) year of prior HVAC or mechanical technician experience is preferred.
One (1) year of prior lead or supervisory experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Maintain records of technical knowledge regarding equipment and concepts.
Handle heavy workload of calls.
Inform customer when arriving at or leaving the job and when planning to return.
Manage workload and job scheduling.
Promptly and accurately complete all required paperwork.
Obtain customer signature on all service reports (before work begins when performing spot jobs).
Keep manager informed of customer feedback.
Communicate effectively and promptly.
Provide technical training and knowledge as needed to client, customer and team.
Collaborate with and across multiple departments and representatives within the Company.
When the Supervisor is present, the lead worker may also be responsible for directing smaller work groups.
Report team performance issues to the Supervisor.
