Job summary

Blaze Heating Cooling Electrical Plumbing Generators is seeking an HVAC Maintenance Technician to inspect and service residential systems. The role includes performing routine maintenance, diagnosing issues, and implementing energy-efficient improvements.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in HVAC service, understands codes and safety practices, and is comfortable with Service Titan. On-site work in Greensboro area with competitive compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of HVAC service or maintenance experience (residential preferred).
• Basic knowledge of HVAC codes and safety procedures.
• Service Titan knowledge is a plus; must be 21+ and eligible to work in the US.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and troubleshoot HVAC systems to identify issues and determine repairs.
• Perform routine maintenance: cleaning, lubricating, and parts replacement.
• Test system performance and efficiency with specialized tools.
• Install, repair, or replace defective parts in HVAC systems.
• Identify upgrades or improvements to enhance performance and energy efficiency.
• Keep accurate records of maintenance and repair work.
• Comply with safety regulations while working on HVAC systems.

What you will DO:

• Inspect and troubleshoot HVAC systems to identify issues and determine necessary repairs
• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning, lubricating, and replacing parts as needed
• Test HVAC system performance and efficiency using specialized tools and equipment
• Install, repair, or replace defective parts or components of HVAC systems
• Identify and recommend upgrades or improvements to enhance system performance and energy efficiency
• Keep accurate records of maintenance and repair work performed on HVAC systems
• Comply with all safety regulations and guidelines while working on HVAC systems

What you NEED:

• 2+ years of HVAC service or maintenance experience in residential preferred
• Basic knowledge of the HVAC codes and safety procedures
• Service Titan knowledge a plus
• Must be 21 or older
• Eligible to work in the US
• Valid US Driver’s License with a satisfactory driving record
• Experience managing a fleet vehicle and product inventory
• Willingness to submit to a pre-employment drug test and background check
• Good work ethic and willingness to learn new methods.
• Superb customer service skills, honest, dependable, and reliable
• Physical dexterity/Ability to work outdoors
• Ability to handle heavy equipment
