Job summary

Johnstone Supply, a leading HVACR distributor, is seeking a Material Handler/Driver in San Diego to receive, stock, pick, and ship products. You will operate forklifts, load/unload trucks, and ensure accurate deliveries while maintaining safety and efficiency in a dynamic warehouse environment.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, forklift certification, and the ability to work with RF scanners and ERP systems. Prior warehouse experience and excellent customer services are valued.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years of truck driving experience (26 ft vehicle or larger) or equivalent.
• Experience operating forklift and warehouse equipment safely.

Responsibilities

• Operate basic power equipment safely to locate and move products to storage locations.
• Receive product by unloading trucks using forklift or hand.
• Ensure shipments are accurate by inspecting freight and verifying quantities.
• Fill orders by picking, packing and labeling for shipment.
• Maintain safety and clean work areas; follow SOPs and comply with hazmat rules.
