Job summary

Johnstone Supply, North America’s leading HVACR distributor, is seeking dedicated warehouse/delivery staff in Palm Desert, CA. You will handle product receiving, stocking, order picking, packing, and shipping while maintaining safety and accuracy.

The role emphasizes forklift operation, RF scanning, and adherence to all SOPs. The position requires a high school diploma or GED and forklift certification, with prior warehouse experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED; 1+ years of truck driving or 1 year operating Johnstone equipment.
• Experience operating forklift and warehouse equipment safely.

Responsibilities

• Operate basic power equipment (forklift, pallet jack) safely to locate, store, pick and move products.
• Receive product by unloading trucks and verify shipments against packing lists.
• Inspect shipments for damage and complete paperwork for discrepancies.
• Ensure products have readable stock numbers and barcodes; resolve labeling issues.
• Fill and pack orders, prepare for shipment and complete required paperwork.
• Maintain safety, together with proper MSDS handling and certifications as needed.
• Support inventory counts and maintenance of warehouse equipment.
• Deliver exceptional service and maintain clean, organized workspace.
