One Hour Heating & Air Conditioning in Michigan is seeking an experienced HVAC Service and Installation Technician to perform maintenance on residential systems per company standards while delivering a high-quality customer experience.

The role includes diagnosing and repairing equipment, testing electrical circuits, and installing HVAC systems, with an opportunity to mentor an Assistant Installation Technician and grow within the company.

Qualifications

Past experience as an HVAC service and installation technician (min 3+ years, 5+ years preferred).
Valid Driver's License.
EPA Certification.
Experience with chillers, heat pumps, air handlers, and geothermal systems.
Ability to climb ladders, crawl, and lift 40 pounds.

Responsibilities

Perform maintenance on newer residential HVAC systems per company standards while ensuring quality customer experience.
Establish rapport with customers to achieve high satisfaction.
Provide exceptional service and educate customers on technical/investment decisions with options.
Test pipe/tube joints for leaks using pressure gauge or soap solution.
Test electrical circuits for continuity using appropriate equipment.
Repair or replace defective equipment, components, or wiring.
Complete and satisfactorily install residential HVAC equipment and accessories.
Oversee Assistant Installation Technician to ensure accurate work and customer satisfaction.
