Job summary

Our Lady of the Lake is seeking an HVAC III technician to lead complex installations, system upgrades, and major repairs within a hospital setting. You will provide technical leadership, diagnose advanced HVAC issues, and train junior technicians to ensure high reliability and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• 5 years HVAC experience
• High School Diploma or equivalent with specialized training/apprenticeship
• Able to read, interpret and execute complex technical documentation
• Strong mentoring and leadership abilities
• Knowledge of hospital ventilation codes and infection-control standards

Responsibilities

• Lead advanced HVAC installations, system upgrades, commissioning, and major repairs
• Diagnose electrical systems, controls, refrigerant circuits, and building automation integration
• Train and mentor HVAC 1 and 2 technicians
• Ensure compliance with EPA, OSHA and hospital standards
• Participate in planning and design reviews for capital projects
• Maintain documentation, assist budgeting, and support departmental operations
