Job summary

Air Hawk Heating and Cooling in Odessa, FL is seeking an experienced HVAC Lead Install Technician to supervise residential and commercial equipment installations, replacements, and retrofits. You will work directly with customers to assess specs and ensure code-compliant installations.

This role requires strong sheet metal skills, brazing, refrigerant testing, and the ability to guide helper technicians. Expect up to 75% travel between customer sites and adherence to safety standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum: Experience as HVAC Lead Installer or Senior Install Technician.
• Minimum: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
• Preferred: EPA Universal Certification or NATE Certification.

Responsibilities

• Lead residential and commercial HVAC installations, replacements and retrofits.
• Interact with customers to assess specs and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Install and configure HVAC units, heat pumps, furnaces, air handlers and ACs to code.
• Install ductwork and sheet metal fittings; maintain clean work environment.
• Perform brazing, line set testing and simple low-voltage work.
• Adhere to safety protocols, OSHA standards and local building codes.
