Freedom Air & Plumbing in Rockledge, FL is seeking an experienced HVAC Lead Install Technician. You will install residential and light commercial HVAC systems, replace or retrofit as needed, and install controls and thermostats while ensuring safety and efficiency.

A strong customer-service approach and the ability to read diagrams are essential. You will work with a team on year-round residential projects, with a company-provided vehicle, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• 6+ years HVAC installation experience preferred.
• Own tools required.
• Able to lift and move heavy equipment.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Able to read blueprints and technical diagrams.
• Comfortable working in crawl spaces, attics, and climbing ladders.
• Basic understanding of electrical wiring and connections.

Responsabilités

• Install residential and light commercial HVAC systems (furnaces, ACs, heat pumps, ductwork).
• Replace or retrofit systems to meet efficiency and safety standards.
• Install thermostats, controls, and related accessories.
• Test system functionality and ensure proper airflow and temperature control.
• Explain installation process to customers and answer questions.
• Maintain records of work performed and materials used.
• Coordinate with dispatch and warehouse to ensure timely completion.
• Follow safety procedures and company policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Location:Rockledge, FL
Pay:$70,000 – $125,000 annually Flat Rate + Hourly Pay.

SCHEDULE: Rotating weekends is required

What You’ll Do:

• Install residential and light commercial HVAC systems including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and ductwork
• Replace or retrofit HVAC systems to meet current efficiency and safety standards
• Install thermostats, controls, and related accessories
• Test system functionality and ensure proper airflow and temperature control
• Collaborate with customers to explain installation process and answer questions
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used
• Work closely with dispatch and warehouse to ensure timely job completion
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies
• Other duties as assigned

What We Are Looking For:

• Minimum 6 + years of HVAC installation experience preferred
• Ability to read blueprints and technical diagrams
• Will need your own tools
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to lift and move heavy equipmentValid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• High school diploma or equivalent (technical school a plus)
• Basic understanding of electrical wiring and connections
• Comfortable working in crawl spaces and attics and climb ladders
• Excellent math, people, and problem-solving skills

PREFERRED:

• Certification or associate’s degree from an HVAC program at a technical school and 2+ years as an HVAC installation technician (preferred but not required)
• Experience with Residential Customers
• Experience in the trades: HVAC, plumbing, electrical
• Experience with Service Titan
• EPA Certified preferred
• NATE Certified preferred
