Evergreen Plumbing, Heating & Air in Salem, Oregon is seeking an HVAC Install Technician to lead residential installations of furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and related components. The role partners with the HVAC Comfort Advisor and operations team to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality work.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years of HVAC installation experience, a valid driver's license with a clean record, and the ability to work in crawl spaces, attics, and varying weather conditions.

Qualifications

• 4 years of HVAC installation experience preferred.
• Knowledge of residential heating and cooling systems.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in crawl spaces, attics, and varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Install residential HVAC systems including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, ductwork, and related equipment.
• Read and interpret installation plans and manufacturer specifications.
• Ensure installations meet local codes and safety standards.
• Test systems to ensure proper operation and performance.
• Maintain clean and professional job sites.
• Communicate with customers and explain system operation when necessary.
• Work collaboratively with installers, service technicians, and office staff.
• Maintain company tools, vehicles, and equipment.

Position Overview

The HVAC Install Technician is responsible for the installation of residential heating and cooling systems including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and related components. This role works closely with our HVAC Comfort Advisor and operations team to ensure installations are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.
