Job summary

Larry & Sons in Hagerstown, MD is seeking an HVAC Lead Install Technician to manage residential and light commercial installs. This full-time role offers a sign-on bonus for top techs, a company-provided vehicle with gas card, and ongoing training. You’ll lead installations, ensure safety and efficiency, and support growth within the team.

Top performers can earn up to $100,000 per year with base pay plus bonuses, benefits include health/dental/vision, 401(k) with match, PTO, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of HVAC installation experience preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical diagrams.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent (technical school a plus).

Responsibilities

• Install residential and light commercial HVAC systems, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and ductwork.
• Replace or retrofit HVAC systems to meet current efficiency and safety standards.
• Install thermostats, controls, and related accessories
• Test system functionality and ensure proper airflow and temperature control
• Collaborate with customers to explain the installation process and answer questions
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used
• Work closely with dispatch and warehouse to ensure timely job completion
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies
